Standards of Practice
Perhaps the greatest contribution made to the building inspection industry has been the development of the NABIE Standards of Practice. More than 120 years of consulting engineering practice, including the inspection of over 350,000 buildings by the Standards Committee members, stand behind the NABIE standards of practice.
These standards have been documented in the handbook, National Academy of Building
Inspection Engineers Standards of Practice for Residential and Small Building
Property Condition Surveys.
